Saturday, November 9, 2013 - Took a risk by popn' and pourin' without decant this nice 2006 Margaux. Not the best year in wine history but was still looking forward to this wine.

A bit shy after opening but a great perfume came out after a couple a minutes, great wine to put your nose in! On the palate round red fresh fruit with a velvet structure, hell yeah this wine is ready for it! Tannins were round and give a nice bite without being annoying or unbalanced. Love it! Pairing with a wildboar and venison stew was a formidable match, god bless Margaux ;-)
