Saturday, November 16, 2013 - great wine. dark in color, but translucent. decanted about an hour. nose of darker fruit with spice and floral notes from stem inclusion. with time this developed notes of fresh game - very savory. the palate showed good tannic structure and acid to support the fruit. there is no doubt this was an infant but one with great potential. the complexity and the tension between the fruit and savory components really kept you coming back. look forward to trying my next bottle in 5+...
