Friday, December 6, 2013 - Color: medium deep ruby -> medium ruby rim. Forward bouquet of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, a little iodine, animal fur and iron. Palate struck me as a little overly sweet; really full, ripe, almost jammy fruit that was held back from going over the cliff by some nice minerals and acidity. It does come across as a little hot to my palate keeping my score from going higher but there's still a lot to like here. Great length and certainly intense. I look forward to seeing how these will age.
