Wednesday, December 4, 2013 - Bought this in a Boston wine store intrigued both by the recommendation from the store and the story of how 35 Provençal and Rhone growers supplied grapes to Chateau de Roquefort when the latter's crop was wiped out by hail. Dark ruby. Stewed strawberries & plums with a hint of chocolate. Medium- body, light tannins & medium acidity. Fruity, lacking complexity but full of fun like a good Côtes Du Rhône.
