Saturday, December 21, 2013 - Holiday Chardonnay Tasting & Dinner (Residence of Tony and Paulette Kelley): Very thick and unctuous with lots of syrupy butterscotch and some floral notes still present. Very smooth and refreshing for a 13 year old chardonnay. This is the quintessential Parkerized booze bomb coming in at 16% alcohol.
Purchased from a library sale directly from the winery a few months prior to tasting. Meaning it was stored in pristine conditions and may not reflect other bottles.
