Monday, January 6, 2014 - Wow, can you believe I bought this big, Gran Reserva at a U.S. Naval Base for $9? It blew me away because the flavors are so round and pronounced. I love the dark chocolate, ripe raspberry and plum with a pinch of pine and spearmint, vanilla oak. This is more sophisticated than I expected and it really covers the tongue nicely. I am drinking it with no food and it is delicious. I can see this going really well with grilled meat or Italian food. It tastes better than a lot of other more expensive wines that I have tried in the past. I am very pleased. I'm getting some more. Cheers!
