Monday, January 6, 2014 - No real dispute about this wine. Super inexpensive, serviceable pinot for a weeknight with store bought (albeit Whole Foods, not Swansons) chicken pot pie. Wife didn't think much of it, but we didn't pour it down the sink, and she drank more than a glass, I'm pretty sure. Good thing is the ABV is probably even lower than the stated, so no problem finishing a bottle. But past its prime? C'mon, it's barely 4 years old! The prime just wasn't that great--this was never better than a $10 bottle.
