Sunday, March 9, 2014 - Opened and decanted. Tasted a sip upon opening just to get a gauge. The color was impossibly light red and clear throughout. Plenty of tart cherry on the nose upon opening, but not giving much else. The acidity upon opening was out of balance, but this was not an issue after about 2 1/2 hours. This is very light bodies and elegant. After about 4 hours, there was a beautiful textural depth that was very pleasing on the palate. About 1/4 bottle re-corked and put in cellar to check on day two.
