90 Points

Wednesday, June 4, 2014 - This is a massive, brooding wine; Right off the bat, the bouquet expresses candied red fruits, vanilla and a hint of pepper; The palate is equally massive, with notes of sweet blackberries, chocolate and spice with a long finish; The quality of the fruit is undoubtedly excellent, although the over-the-top style is slightly excessive to my tastes; I would let these sit for 5+ more years for some secondary flavors to develop and to tame the sweetness of the fruit
