Saturday, June 21, 2014 - Long decant of two and half hours, a very dark purple pour. The bouquet has a strong dark cherry component to it along with a hint of vanilla. The palate is slightly plummy with the dark cherry component very present, it is soft and voluptuous and rich in body with a medium finish. Counoise is not easy to find in my neck of the woods, glad to have had the chance to try it, as a comparison it is like a zin without the spice
