Monday, July 21, 2014 - I'd say right up the alley of what you would expect here. Lots of honeysuckle, guava and bruised pineapple, pear on the nose and toasted lemon rind. Beautifully aromatic. Moldy top of the cork and tartaric crystals from lack of cold stabilization. Wine was drinking great though. Bottled with just a touch of CO2 for freshness. Razor sharp acidity, lots of minerality and a good bite of off-dryness. I wouldn't say anything ground beaking here but a delicious wine and wonderful nose. Great for the price.
