Wednesday, August 13, 2014 - Consistent with the first lot of 5 bottles I've tasted in the past few months, this wine was bright ruby in color and showed black cherry, baking spices and clove on the nose. The mouth feel brought juicy acidity along with tart cranberry and wet granite. The finish was medium in length with good lift and the fruit, tannins and minerality all coming together nicely.
Purchased for $14.99US from winestillsoldout.com, this is an outstanding qpr. It easily drinks like a $30+ bottle. I liked this so much I jumped on an offer from WTSO to buy another 4 bottles. Kudos to WTSO for offering this at a great price.
