Thursday, September 11, 2014 - Color is garnet to purple and nearly opaque.
Nose is black cherry and shitake mushroom.
Palate is ripe cherry with a rich sweet caramel and jasmine tea secondary notes.
Tannins start lush and finish on the chalky side.
A fruit forward wine that seems pretty approachable to drink right now.
