Thursday, September 18, 2014 - CT Tasting Group (Spencer's HOuse): My WOTN - Beautiful nose that jumps out of the glass, showing funk, leather and powerful fruit / currant. Palate shows similarly with well integrated and fresh red and dark fruit taking center stage , framed by well-aged earthy flavors. Tannins are still present and show consistently from entry through finish. Finished medium to medium-plus. This was best right from the bottle and did lose some of its presence and with air.
