The palate adds a herbal touch to the flavours, but it’s still quite sweetly-fruited; it’d have guessed cab franc not merlot (majority) from the loose-knit feel to the palate. Has a lovely even presence on the mid-palate; combined with medium chalky tannins and balanced acid it all adds up to a very good medium-length wine, drinking well now but probably offering better in 5-8 years. I like this very much.
