Tuesday, October 28, 2014 - Worryingly, the nose opens with a big whiff of Vegemite. Behind that are notes of mulberry, blackberry, and anise. The palate shows strong, structured, but gentle tannins. The flavour is primarily earthy, with flavours of star anise, forest floor, and truffle, but there are also fruit notes of blackberry, plum, and pomegranate. Shows structure and complexity; seems built to last.
