Saturday, November 1, 2014 - Deep red brick color indicative of its young age. After decanting for 1+ hour the wine showed complex bouquet of Tuscan herbs, dark flowers and berries all combined in good harmony. On the palate full body with firm grip on the tannins, expected for a medium age brunello, notes of herbs and berries with a long finish, typical of Brunello. Drinking well now, but plenty of time to cellar. This delivered on the critics view of the 2001 vintage.
