Sunday, November 16, 2014 - Extremely light bodied and floral. This is all red fruits; strawberry, raspberry preserves, and watermelon along with clean leather on the nose. The wine takes on quite a bit of weight with extended air time and on the palate you get another heavy dose of dark red fruits that will make you question how it's possible to cram that much depth into such a delicate wine. The acidity on the front (a signature I find in Ceritas wines) and the slightly drying tannins make me think I'll wait a few years before opening the next bottle.
