Friday, November 28, 2014 - Served with Thanksgiving dinner finishing the bottle later around the fireplace. Make no mistake this is a very enjoyable wine---my guests loved it. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, dominated the nose and palate with polished dark fruit that glided across the tongue. A rich mouth filling wine that was ready to go and easy to enjoy. All components were balanced with a medium finish. So why only 93 points? This is the perfect wine for those individuals who have not tasted a wide range of reds. For all the delicious fruit that is presented it does so n a singular manner. Complexity so far in this wines development has not presented itself. This wine is not for those that love sitting around discussing a wines nuances while noticing changes as the wine gains breathing time. Would I buy this wine again? Yes if I could get it for around $100 as it is a crowd pleaser for those wine drinkers who have not tasted many wines other than those found in a grocery store.
