Saturday, December 6, 2014 - Red fruit, dust and some earthy tones on the nose. The palate is quite light, adding black pepper, licorice and juicy fruit. Smooth, silky mouthfeel, medium acidity and persistent tannins. Long mid-toned delicious finish. The overall impression with the juicy fruit and the structure reminds me for some reason of Cru Beaujolais (excluding maybe the acidity), and would work well with similar food pairings.
