Tuesday, December 23, 2014 - Very good balance between the jammy Aussie style shiraz and more balanced Rhone style syrah wine. Bought this at auction and was a little concerned it was past its prime but no, still very good. Some dark fruit - cherry, strawberry, but balanced with secondary flavors of licorice and tabacco. Softened tannins with med finish.
