Tuesday, December 23, 2014 - I was psyched to try this and not disappointed. It sounds incredulous to say a wine needs 20yrs plus but many BDX do and this one was great at age 24. Loved the black raspberry / dark cherry flavors and minerality. 24yrs have tamed what was likely a tannic beast early on and yet this still is on the upswing. Very fresh, elegant and intellectual.
