Monday, December 29, 2014 - I noticed unusual variance in CT score for this wine, so I opened my bottle with some concerns. Poured in a decanter an hour before drinking was surprisingly young for being a 10 years old Rioja Gran Reserva.
Good acidity, solid classic Rioja Style but with less wood than expected. Best if drunk few hours after opening, as the day after the wine had lost it's brilliance.
