Wednesday, December 31, 2014 - Finally trying Gruet and surprised to see the community score isn't higher. I was highly impressed by this wine. Lots of yeast/bread on the nose along with some tropical fruit. Palate is layered, ranging from hard candy to toast to more tropical fruit. There is a flirtatious peach-pit bitterness on the finish. For less than $20 this NV sparkler delivers delightful complexity while also being crisp and refreshing.
