Friday, January 16, 2015 - Popped and poured. Clear, ruby color. Upon opening and decanting a very pronounced nose of strawberry and rose, which shut down 30 minutes later but then reemerged with light intensity. On palate, strong red fruit with hints of black fruit (blueberry), very primary, low tannin, low to medium body, high acidity. Long finish. Elegant, pretty, not muscular or earthy at this stage. Will hold other bottles for 5 plus years to allow further development.
