Thursday, January 22, 2015 - PopnPour, cork broke in half, tasted over 2 hrs
-dark ruddy red with some purple, almost opaque
-gorgeous almost mature Burg with pinot fruit, warm earth, touch of oak
-med acidity, sappy with some depth, dark fruited, touch of rusticity, tannins starting to resolve, not overly complex
-very nice dark fruited '99 Burg in early maturity
