Friday, January 23, 2015 - A steal of a wine. Deep, dense in color. Nose showed grape, herbs and spice. Palate was med-full body, light on palate, prunes, black fruit, spice and a touch of earth. Drying tannins and super acidity. Need substantial food, but so good just by itself. Holding other 2 til next year to see development.

2/12/2015 12:48:00 PM - Intrigued by your review. Observed your profile and saw the "wine snob" cautionary note. Seems "snob" is more how you treat others than what you have or know, so wouldn't worry bout it as you seem sincere in your appreciation of wine. But quite certain you know that. :)

How does this bottle compare with others you've experienced from the same region?

2/26/2015 3:59:00 PM - I'm so sorry that I misinterpreted your note to me. It's easy to do in printed correspondence. In reply to your original question, I'm haven't had many Languedoc wines as I've been developing my palate by experiencing wines from all over the world. I liked this wine a lot although I'm really a fan of Italian wines that are light in body, full or fruit and acidity, and just great food wines. Again, sorry for the confusion! Hope we can talk again.
