Tuesday, January 27, 2015 - Nose of pecan, spices, oxidative elements, dried apricot, light sage, sweet hay smoke, and sweet lemon in the background. The nose bursts out of the glass. This wine is very rich in the mouth with a strong back palate grip. A bright front palate (with even a light ginger beer bent at times) with mid palate spice and nut. This was the right bottle at the right time. Paired with caviar and eggplant dip on toasts.
