Sunday, September 30, 2007 - Deep crimson color and moderately translucent. This wine opens slowly to reveal a quite gorgeous CdP. The nose is deep with dried cherry, red and black licorice. The palate is super ripe but well balanced beetween the fruit and structural components. This comes across as more of a hedonistic pleasure more than an intellectual wine but at the same time this is no froo froo ooze bomb. Will be fun to watch over the coming decade.
