Sunday, February 15, 2015 - Attractive light gold. Wow, beautiful nose: sweet oak, caramelised apple...some other fruit...melon? pear?? On the palate: full-flavoured, full-bodied (alcohol an integrated part of that), long, well-balanced. Acidity dropping away a bit now compared to the last bottle I had, hence one point less. Still a superb bottle of wine, by no means past its best. Confirms my belief in Stonier as one of the finest Australian Chardonnay producers, well worth cellaring. Screwcap.
