Saturday, October 6, 2007 - Expressive nose of crushed strawberries and a dash of pepper. Ripe red berry’s on the palate, with strawberry being the predominate flavor. Nice pepper finish. There is some heat on the nose and some lingers on the finish as well. 14.5% alcohol is obvious, but thankfully doesn’t kill the fruit. Overall I thought this was very nice, easy drinking pinot.
