Monday, March 23, 2015 - somewhat expressive, but not impressive. Comparing this to last night's Hess. This is certainly fuller bodied, but tannins are more prominent than fruit. Who needs to pay $30 for tannins? This could turn into something, but I'd rather pay up and try Ladera's Howell Mountain, which has been amazing in prior vintages, rather than buying this again.
