Saturday, March 28, 2015 - Gaining in maturity this wine has an open bouquet and beautifully knitted palate. The key note was a gamey blackcurrant character that was also present in the Leoville Barton 2000 I sampled a couple of days earlier though the Riddoch had a riper note. There were olives and mint in the background. Drunk at a family lunch this wine deserves a solitary tasting to appreciate its subtleties.
