Sunday, March 29, 2015 - The stand out feature is the 1996 acidity. I can see the the comment about the cream sauce. This wine would be a good palate cleanser. True to pinot noir on nose and palate, it delivered some current and stewed raspberry, and a lovely underbrush. It had some finesse but not the grand cru weight I expected. The length on the palate fell off on the final glass.
