Monday, April 13, 2015 - Deep-dark red in colour, showing density still;
Barnyard smell: animalistic pleasures, rusty nails, blood & leather; nettles, heated cherries & hints of liquorice; a complex but not too pleasing nose on this one!
Mouthful of wine; lots of tannins left, a bully of that barnyard called 'Saint-Estephe'; fat & undeveloped Bordeaux; bitter, unfriendly & wild in its expressions; drink now or try later in several years!
