Monday, April 20, 2015 - Decanted for filtering and for air approximately 1.5 hours. Re-bottled for transport. Wine left a lot of sediment in the decanter (note that it is unfined/unfiltered). It was dark in the restaurant but wine appeared to present as ruby with light rim. Rich scents of candied cherry and red fruit along with some light spice. Expressive red fruit flavors with hints of earth and spice. medium body, medium acid, medium+ finish with lingering fruit and floral notes. Will wait on the next one until 2017.
