Monday, May 11, 2015 - Ordered from winebid.com and the bottle arrived in excellent condition. Tried this last night with about a 1+ hr decant. Lovely fruit and forest on the smell. The acids are still there and it is a pretty good wine but the fruit was a bit faded. I do appreciate what this wine has become and what is offers.......nice acidity, muted slightly sweet bramble, dust, and a bit of forest floor. No oak or cedar in this. It is a lovely old CA Cab that is, based on this bottle, at the end of a lovely life.
