Saturday, May 16, 2015 - (Decanter's Bordeaux '05, '09, '10 tasting) :: A majestic Barsac. Full of apricot, honeysuckle, melon, lychee, and big notes of ground hazlenuts and almonds. What set the '05 apart, though, was a distinct line of minerals and clay. Very well balanced and harmonious, with sumptuous and fresh acidity to keep it all singing. Preferred to the 2009 and 2010.
