Sunday, June 21, 2015 - Excellent, this is why I love Rivers-Marie pinots. Some are too big and chunky for my tastes, but I have just started with this vintage passing on those vineyards. Been on the list since the beginning. Love Summa, and especially the old vines. Delicious tart red fruits (pomegranate, cranberry, tart cherries), thyme, tarragon, earth, and minerals. Long finish. Beautiful on Fathers Day with wild halibut, roasted potatoes, and asparagus/rhubarb/Vidalia onion salad.
