Thursday, July 2, 2015 - Garnet color. Mostly tobacco leaf on the nose. Light weight, savory mix of tobacco, tar, and light cherry. Supple and easygoing with low acidity and tannins. Very nice wine that honestly is more at the level of generic Nebbiolo than Barolo. All of the elements are there but only average intensity and no sense of tension or excitement.
