Tuesday, October 13, 2015 - Deep lemon hue. Developed nose with pronounced honeyed aromas of baked apple and quince, with typical vegetal and mineral sensations. Semi-dry, full-bodied, rich taste with high yet embedded acidity, viscous texture, and intense flavours mirroring the nose. Finishes long and spicy, with alcoholic oumpf and warmth. A slow drinker, on the heavier side, better served at low temperature. Although open and generous now, it should keep and develop for a decade at least. Salty washed-rind cheese or asian cuisine would be good combinations.
