Tuesday, October 27, 2015 - Can you believe, getting better? Decant for an hour or less, and drink a marvelous Margaux bought in 2006 for $49.00! Gone is the forest floor and replaced by a spring and then summer garden. The cassis, blackberry, dewberry, and black currant are one, all balanced for a singular impression, a super smooth mouth feel. Elegant and delicious, the dark purple, concentrated tannins have gone to heaven, rich and textured, licorice, rose and hibiscus, sweet dark chocolate and clove, the beauty drinks like a first growth. Transporting to wine wonder.

10/27/2015 9:12:00 PM - Great note. Such a dilemma... I only have a bottle, and it sounds like it would be so great now... but I know I'd regret opening too soon! How far along did you feel like it was?
