Friday, November 6, 2015 - Healthy colour, pretty dark still with some discolouration around the rim. On the nose very promising with sweet, exotic spices, tobacco, succulent dark fruit, graphite. Quite a bit different on the palate. Sweet, round start, but then rather harsh and drying tannins are kicking in. Very bright acidity. Lacking charme and generousity. A bit unbalanced. Long. Maybe not a great bottle (US re-import according to the merchant's label), but it makes you wonder if it will ever come around. 89-90(+)
