Sunday, November 15, 2015 - A home run in American Pinot. This has such a concentrated but fresh profile of cherry, strawberry rhubarb pie and some raspberries. It finishes with a healthy does of sweet allspice. Sweet tannins throughout the taste. That spice lasts a while as well. Also, this has an incredible nose. This will never be mistaken for Burgundy and why should it. But if one wanted to try and make a comparison, I would say a 1er Cru Pommard. Very fine juice and most impressed.
