Monday, November 16, 2015 - Dark golden in colour with lots of Wood, herbs and honey in the nose and on the palate this wine is really astonishing. A little fruit is still left and shown on the second day. Oily and Long, 14,9 % vol. Best on the second day the fruit had vanished on the third day so I improved it with a younger chardonnay of good quality (Ratio 2:1) and doubled the fun. In its prime this wine might have merit a very high score. Maybe 95-97? This wine knocks out a lot of white Grand Cru burgundies for a fraction of the price. California über alles!
