90 Points

Saturday, November 21, 2015 - Opened bottle 4 hours before pouring. About 11 degrees when served, but followed over several hours and at increasing temprature.

The first thing that stands out is the crazy attack of sour cherries on the finnish. As the temp rises this get's more balanced. The mid palate is silky with red fruit and underlying tones of earth and tobacco. This wine would benefit from some years in the cellar to soften out the tannins a bit. It's good at the moment, but think the score goes up when I open the next bottle 5 years from now.
