Color: light to medium-deep ruby core -> medium ruby rim. Forward bouquet of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, a little iodine, animal fur and iron. Nose really hasn't changed from over a year ago and neither has the palate which still strikes me as a little overly sweet; really full, ripe, almost jammy fruit that was held back from going over the cliff by some nice minerals, roasted meat elements and acidity. Still a little hot to my palate keeping my score from going higher. Great length and certainly UFC intense. Interesting to me that the tannins seem more noticeable than last year.
