Wednesday, December 9, 2015 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #104; St. Estèphe (By BS): Concentrated bouquet with beautiful dark berries like cassis, vanilla and luxurious toasted oak. On the palate dark forest fruits like cassis and blackberries, cedar, luxurious oak with a firm toast, licorice and beautiful acidity. The tannin is round and a bit drying and still has a good bite. Overall a complex and beautiful wine with depth and a great length. Young maturity stage now. No problem cellaring this for another 5+ years. 92+
