Thursday, December 17, 2015 - Healthy dose of bretty funk on opening, but this mellowed quickly. When it did, lovely aromas of warm earth, old leaves, cigar smoke, and a faint whiff of green pepper came wafting from the glass. Fully mature on the palate, with tannins fully resolved and a lithe, elegant profile that seemed only a little dilute on the finish. Although a little light on material, it was a beautiful experience; like the essence of autumn in a glass.
