Thursday, December 24, 2015 - First experience with aged Barolo. Christmas Eve at Nick's house. Quite interesting - initially very earthy, evolved over 3 hours with slight raisiny taste, a little chocolate, and some leather. Dusty mouth feel. Enjoyable. Would have paired better with beef rather than the family recipe spaghetti and meat sauce.
